Shatta Wale could cause a stir in the industry, sooner rather than later, as he sends a stern warning to the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) over unpaid royalties.
The ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker’s post directed at GHAMRO reveals that the body responsible for the collection and distribution of royalties among right owners have refused to pay him what he is due.
The Shatta Movement (SM) Empire boss has registered his displeasure about the issue and also threatened to go haywire if the organisation fails to pay him.
He made this known in a facebook update on Wednesday and it read, “GHAMRO ARE YOU READY TO PAY MY ROYALTIES OR YOU WANT ME TO GO HAYWIRE!!”

GHAMRO is currently led by Rex Omar as Chairman, Ahmed Banda a.k.a Bandex and Diana Hopeson as first-vice and second-vice respectively. They were elected by the rest of the new thirteen-member board in Accra on Sunday, March 19, 2017.
