Nana Oye Lithur: Fan of Shatta Wale

Nana Oye Lithur, a former Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection has revealed that she is a fan of reggae/dancehall musician Shatta Wale and the Shatta Movement.

The Human Rights Lawyer made this known in a series of tweets on Tuesday, following the Vodafone Ghana VIM launch and concert held on May Day at the Trade Fair Centre in La, Accra.

The ‘Ayoo’ and ‘Take Over’ hitmaker performed at the launch, and the former Minister who could not hide her joy opened up on her support for the vociferous musician.

She said she is “a fan of Shatta Wale and Shatta Movement” while adding that she “had a great time especially with the Shatta Movement.”

Despite Shatta Wale‘s outburst with some musicians and other bodies in the countries, which has bagged him the ‘bad guy’ status, he continues to command a healthy fan-base among some top personalities as a result of his assiduity and hard work. Among them include, but not limited to, the President of the Republic of Ghana,  H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
